A seventeen-year-old boy decides to cut his hair — a quiet act of rebellion that unexpectedly sparks a conflict with his mother. She sees his appearance as his only chance of being accepted into a heterosexual life. An ordinary haircut becomes a charged struggle for freedom, identity, and self-worth. 

The film had its world premiere on October 3, 2025, at Out On Film: Atlanta's LGBTQ Film Festival in the USA. The film has a runtime of 10 minutes.

The main producer of the film is the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU). I, Erik Jasaň, worked on the project as an external director for cinematographer Jakub Jožia's bachelor's film.

Official Selections and Awards

The film had its world premiere at Out On Film: Atlanta's LGBTQ Film Festival 2025, the only queer film festival that qualifies films for the Academy Awards (Oscars). The film was part of the Official Selection.
