Logline

After her beloved son escapes, the abused wife reconsiders her attitudes towards her husband.

Synopsis

Abused by her alcoholic husband, a mother tries to track down her son after he ran away from home. If she doesn’t decide to defy her man, she may never find her son.

Although my father was not an alcoholic, as a child I grew up surrounded by many alcoholics my mother took care of. Every time I saw how they treated her, I was afraid for her – I worried about what they might do to her or how they would behave.

Years later, I grew up and started thinking about what my mother might have about dreamed and what she could have done different­ly.

Recall is an intimate poetic statement of an oppressed woman and a family drama, which combines elements of the music video in the first place and the features of a short film in the second line, in which colo realism al­ternates with warm memories.
